2016 Micromouse Competition

Hi Everyone!

IEEE-UCR would like to cordially invite you to our 2016 Micromouse Competition, hosted here at UCR on April 3rd, 2016. 

The All-Nighter will begin April 2nd at 5:00pm and snacks will be provided!

Top three teams will receive prizes for their respective victories and a beginners prize will go out to "Most Cells Traversed" for a team competing for their first time.

This event is open to all collegiate students interested in competing.

Competition Doors Open:

                  April 3, 2016 8:00 AM
                  Donuts and Coffee will be provided Sunday April 3, 8:00 AM

Competition Time: 
                  April 3, 2016 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What we’ll provide:

                  LiPo battery chargers(first come), soldering stations, full practice maze.

What to bring:

                 If your team plans on coming for the all nighter, comfortable clothes, and sleeping bags(optional), cash for meals outside of what we’ll be providing, laptops, chargers, mouse, power strips.

What are the prizes:
                1st Place: $100 Amazon Gift Card
                2nd Place: $50 Amazon Gift Card
                3rd Place: $25 Amazon Gift Card
                Best Beginners Mouse: TBA

Rules: 

                Micromouse Competition Rules
                All rules apply except for Rule E. 2. (Last Sentence) Where "If a mouse is placed back in the maze for another run, a one-time penalty of 30 seconds will be added to the mouse’s next run time.". There will be no 30 second penalty.
